about the play
Beckett asks the oldest question of mankind and answers by playing. He creates the myth of man/woman who has to get along without answers, beyond the question of sense and judgings just as beyond the stated senselessness and it’s depreciations. How does a human being live, who does nothing but waiting for the end?
This image and the challenge of following Beckett’s “playing instructions” in it’s intensive form and clearness is the direction this production is heading for: we are playing until the edge, looking for humour, especially the humour of the absurd.
